Absolutely the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever been to. And the absolute best investment we made for our wedding. We booked the whole house for our wedding party and had a pre-wedding family gathering, our rehearsal dinner, and after party there. Sam, Scott, Suzanne, and Dave made our wedding possible! Anything we needed they did before we even thought about it -- ironing our tablecloths, helping clean rentals, preparing homemade cookies for our game night, taking care of our flowers that we ordered, helping pack up our cars for the wedding, and dozens more acts of kindness. The Uphill house is perfect -- don't miss out!
Our room was comfortable, the bed, the temperature, the shower and bathroom very clean. The breakfasts were also delicious and full of variety. Good coffee ready brewed and also Keurig for personal brewing, Had use of a small fridge to keep locally purchased wine cold. As is in the name, a work of advice to motorcycle travelers, it is quite a climb up a twisty dirt/stone driveway. Our 1st time we came here we were thinking to come on the bike but were glad we didn't after seeing the up hill gravel driveway.
Cannot recommend this place enough! Gorgeous setting, close to the city. The family were amazing hosts for a wedding party, took care of all the arrangements, and things couldn't have been better!
Had an excellent stay here. Friendly staff that gave out great recommendations and had a few savings too! Definitely recommend.
