Overall we had a good time and would like to stay here again.

Stayed in 3 bedroom cabin. We'll appointed and cozy. Lots to do here: horseback riding, boating, pools (indoor and outdoor). Many nearby activities/attractions (historic sites, national park, antique shops, Luray Caverns). Nice place for a getaway!

This was our second time vacationing here. The first time, no kids. This time we brought them. We like coming in the fall because the leaves and weather is beautiful. The staff is amazing and courteous. There us lots to do. We particularly enjoyed horseback riding. All in all a great place to visit. We stayed in a cabin both times, we will rent a yurt next time for a new experience.

This is not a high end resort. But if you enjoy vacationing in nature you'll love it here. You can ride horses, walk trails through the woods, rent kayaks on the lake or swim in the pools when it's warm enough. They have an exercise room and a game room also. We have been here 7 times over the last 10 years. We usually stay in a cabin, but we have stayed in a yurt also.

I enjoyed my stay here, my wife and I stayed in one of the smaller cabins. The cabins were nicely decorated and comfortable. The cabin we stayed in wasn't as quiet as we would have expected, but it wasn't anything that would ruin your stay. If you are coming for horseback riding, expect the ride to be cancelled for inclement weather. There was rain the night before our ride was scheduled, and the whole next days schedule was cancelled even though the day itself ended up being quite nice. There are other options in the area so it wasn't the end of the world. There is a pizza place at the general store and it is quite good and we only had to wait 10 minutes after ordering.

Shenandoah Crossing is a little piece of heaven. We stayed in a cabin right by the lake, with spectacular views. The cabin was comfortable and had what we needed. We stayed in an older cabin, but it was still nice. They were renovating the cabins all around us, so they'll be even nicer soon. Lots of amenities! Indoor and outdoor pools, mini golf, lots of sports, fishing and horses. Beautiful, out of the way corner of the world.
